The well-known African proverb: “It takes a village to raise a child” is particularly fitting when it comes to Zama Dance School.

Providing our 100 dance students a safe place to flourish and grow into young South African citizens is no easy feat. Zama does not generate any income, and tuition, ballet clothes and meals are all provided to the learners free of charge. While we are grateful to the kindness and generosity of our benefactors and dance partners, Zama’s growth and sustainability is dependent on creating a broad-based support network.
